Our approach

In Gambia, clean drinking water is a precious and often inaccessible resource. For thousands of families in the inland villages, lack of access to safe water means daily health risks, time-consuming hikes to polluted wells, and a constant struggle for survival.

The Fresh Water Project is changing this. By building wells with powerful Scandinavian pumps and robust solar panels, they bring clean water to even the most remote villages. They involve local people every step of the way and teach them how to maintain the systems themselves, ensuring a sustainable and growing impact.

With your support, we can reach more villages, improve lives, and make a lasting impact on the health and future of these communities.

Your impact: Every drop counts

With your contribution we can:

  • €25: Provide a family with clean water.

  • €500: Contribute to a pump.

  • €5,000: Build an entire installation.

Every donation, big or small, makes a difference. Together we can create a world where no one has to live without clean drinking water.

The Reality: Waiting 50 Years for Water

In The Gambia, hundreds of villages have been waiting for clean drinking water for over 50 years. Children walk miles every day to fetch water that is often contaminated and causes serious illness. This is the reality for thousands of families who have no other choice. With your support, we can finally bring clean water to the neglected villages of The Gambia. Help us provide them with a fundamental human right – clean drinking water.
